The praise keeps coming for Northeast Minneapolis restaurant Masu Sushi & Robata, which this month was named one of the nation’s top sushi restaurants by Travel + Leisure magazine.
Travel + Leisure puts Masu in the ranks with New York’s Soto and Urasawa in Los Angeles.
Masu, which was launched by Nay Hla of Sushi Avenue Inc. and restaurateurs who also were behind Origami, Solera and Sea Change, earlier this year was named one of the nation’s best new sushi restaurants by Bon Appetit.
Hla has since expand the concept to a Mall of America location, and is working on more.
